Courage Everywhere: And Others.
Thursday 15 November 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
£10 – £15
To mark the 100th anniversary of (some) women in the UK gaining the right to vote, the National Theatre is hosting a series of rehearsed readings, talks, and screenings that reflect and celebrate this historic moment.
Susan Croft, editor of play collection Votes for Women and other plays, and co-author of our non-fiction book Art, Theatre and Women’s Suffrage, with Graeae and the National Theatre are curating an evening of rehearsed play readings ‘And Others’ on 15 November in the Dorfman Theatre, National Theatre.
Courage Everywhere: And Others
A testimony to the women who have been lost to history, who fought for suffrage but whose stories have been left untold.
Graeae Theatre’s Artistic Director, Jenny Sealey, draws together the words of forgotten women to mark the reach of Suffrage.
