Virginia Woolf in Richmond Talk in Twickenham

Virginia Woolf in Richmond is a new book by Peter Fullagar exploring how the town and surrounding areas influenced the writer. The book has been published in support of a campaign for a permanent, full-size bronze statue of the writer on the Richmond riverside.

Join Peter Fullagar, the book’s author, to learn more about Virginia’s important connection with the area, and why Richmond deserves to be fully recognised with a statue – Virginia Woolf Statue Campaign.

The event is being hosted by the Borough of Twickenham Local History Society focuses on the history of Twickenham, Whitton, Teddington and the Hamptons which in 1965 was incorporated into the newly established London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
