A story of a rural parish in decline, a priest facing both a crisis of faith and the collapse of his marriage and the strange figure who arrives in the village one day, seemingly with an answer to everyone’s prayers. Brendan Murray is a playwright, theatre director and teacher with over thirty years’ professional experience. Recipient of the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain award in 2009 and The Arts Council’s Children’s (Brian Way) Award in 2001, his work – which focuses on the intricacies of human relationships – has proved a hit with audiences across the UK and throughout Europe.
