We’re thrilled to be hosting the Book Launch of our new play collection, Southeast Asian Plays, at the spectacular National Gallery Singapore.
On Thursday 29 September from 7.30pm the collection’s editor Aubrey Mellor and playwright Ann Lee will be discussing the selected plays, which cover topics as diverse as the global financial crisis, religious faith, the sex trade and corruption. Followed by staged readings from students at LASALLE College of the Arts in association with the Select Centre.  Book here.
With plays from Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia, the eight plays provide thought-provoking insights into the differing concerns of those living in a part of the world which is experiencing profound change.
