Almuth Tebbenhoff was born on a farm in Germany in 1949. She studied ceramics
at Sir John Cass School of Art, London in 1972 and drawing classes and lectures
at the Royal College of Art by invitation from Sir Eduardo Paolozzi. She has been
commissioned by the Cass Sculpture Foundation, St George’s Hospital, Richard Rogers
building in Chiswick, University of Leicester and her work is available at the Saatchi
Gallery and Pangolin, London. Awards include: NOA Competition, London Group
Sculpture Prize, Arts Council England, grant for sculpture installation at Cafe Gallery,
Southwark Park, London and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, New York.
