, portrait, 2013, Credit: Johan Persson/April De Angelis (born c.1960) is an English dramatist of part Sicilian descent. She is a graduate of Sussex University who trained at East 15 Acting School. Her play Crux is included in Seven Plays by Women (1991) and her play Soft Vengeance adapted from Albie Sachs’ book, is included in Graeae Plays 1 (2002). Her lyrics for the protest song Jenny are published in The Women Writers' Handbook 2020.
