Barbara Blue hails originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but she first began performing in 1997 at Silky O’Sullivan’s on Beale Street in Memphis. Continuing to perform there five nights a week for over twenty years, she has gained the moniker “Queen of Beale Street”.
She has also competed in the International Blues Challenge and performed all over the world including on several of the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruises where she met the Phantom Blues Band. Since then she has collaborated on three albums with the band.
