Bianca Smith (1991-) started her 2nd season as a minor league coach with the FCL
Red Sox in 2022. Prior to the Red Sox she was an Assistant Athletic Director and
Assistant Baseball Coach/Hitting Coordinator at Carroll University for two seasons.
Smith has also coached at Case Western Reserve University (where she earned her
dual JD/MBA in sports law, sports management, and organizational behavior) and
the University of Dallas, as well as working in Baseball Operations in the front offices
of the Texas Rangers, the Cincinnati Reds, and MLB’s Commissioner’s Office. While
at Case Western Smith also worked as the Athletics Compliance Assistant, Teaching
Assistant for the undergraduate Sports Management course, and Assistant General
Manager for the Northern Ohio Baseball Club of the Great Lakes League.
