Eve Muirhead OBE (1990- ) is a a Scottish curler who won a gold medal at the 2022
Winter Olympic Games in Beijing as part of Team GB. She grew up in Blair Atholl, and
started curling when she was 8 years old at a rink in the village of Pitlochry trained by
her father, also an international curler. She began her career by winning four World
Junior Championships and has won the European Championship title in 2011, 2017
and 2021. She made her Olympic debut in 2010, winning a bronze medal at Sochi 2014.
