Jane McAdam Freud MA-RCA, FRSS studied at Wimbledon, Central, Royal College of
Art in London and was awarded the British Art Medal Scholarship in Rome. She was
granted the Freedom of the City in 1991 due to her work being represented in major
public collections at home and abroad and has since mounted 58 solo exhibitions, the
most recent at the Palazzo Ducale, Genoa in 2019. Retrospectives include the Wooyang
Contemporary Art Museum, Gyeongju-si, South Korea in 2015 and the Freud Museum,
London in 2006. In 2014, along with Annie Leibovitz, McAdam Freud won the European
Trebbia Award for achievement in the arts. Jane lectures at the University of the Arts,
