Naomi Paxton is a researcher and performer. She is an AHRC/BBC Radio 3 New
Generation Thinker, and received the TaPRA Early Career
Research prize in 2019 for her body of work on suffrage theatre,
which includes two edited collections with Methuen Drama, a
monograph with Manchester University Press, the exhibitions
Dramatic Progress: Votes for Women and the Edwardian Stage
exhibition (National Theatre, 2018-19), What Difference Did the
War Make? World War One and Votes for Women (UK Parliament,
2018), and the card game Suffra-Greats.
